Emily is a Canadian real estate broker-owner and first point of contact for private high-net-worth individuals, firms and family offices.

Emily draws strength from her multi-disciplinary business background and experience with various asset classes in real estate when negotiating and deal-making. She believes in quality, not volume, financial objectives and design excellence.

Previous to founding the firm, Emily spent 10 years in international sales for an entertainment attractions company, 3 years as head of business development for an architecture firm, and then went on to specialize in commercial sales and leasing for 10 years at Cushman & Wakefield. She has extensive experience with major client representation both locally and internationally.

Emily is solutions-oriented, entrepreneurial, strategic, agile and discreet. She studied Fine Art at York University and received an MBA from Richard Ivey Business School at Western University.

1995

Start of 11-year period at SimEx-Iwerks Entertainment selling simulation attractions, large format theaters and film programming to Universal and Warner Bros theme parks. International road warrior for ten years. Buy my first property.

2006

3-year period at Reich+Petch securing architecture and exhibit design work for institutions like the Smithsonian and ROM. Take real estate courses to learn about property investing and get licensed to trade.

 

2008

Start of 10-year period at Cushman & Wakefield in commercial real estate sales and leasing. Successfully represented property owners, investment firms, SMEs, family offices and luxury retailers.

2015

Earned MBA at Richard Ivey Business School at Western University with a focus on China. Led MBA team on Asia expansion project with Quadrangle Architecture as client.

2017

Served one year leadership role in national retail and cross border transactions for Marcus & Millichap. Left to travel and attend international conferences as an investor including the World Economic Forum in Davos.

2019

Founded Masuda International Associates, independent brokerage and advisory exclusively representing private clients in the acquisition of commercial, residential and business opportunities worldwide.
